The Symposium
A main focus of the Cuba Project through the year 2000 is Cuba’s reintegration or “reinsertion” into the changing global context at the turn of the century. Through seminars, symposia and research, the Cuba project explores comparative and international perspectives and the island’s relations with North America, Europe, Latin American and the Caribbean. The symposium of September 28, 1998 explores a broad conceptual framework and a core of interesting themes in the research and study agenda.
