Archibald Ritter
Professor Ritter has published extensively on Cuba’s development policies and experience, and has worked in the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as the Department of Energy Mines and Resources for the Government of Canada. Ritter holds a Ph.D. in Economics with a minor in Latin American Studies from the University of Texas at Austin.
Talk Description:
Archibald Ritter will outline and evaluate the new strategic approach of the government of Raul Castro. He will explore the viability and prospects for the strategy, its impacts, and the future evolution of the Cuban economy.
